The new JET 13" Benchtop Planer delivers dependable performance and efficient stock removal for everyday shop use. Its full 13-inch planing capacity allows users to surface wide boards in a compact benchtop format. The 3-knife cutterhead is equipped with precision-ground steel knives designed for aggressive material removal and consistent thicknessing across a variety of hardwoods and softwoods. Powered by a 2HP, 120-volt motor turning the cutterhead at 9,500 RPM, this planer provides strong cutting performance on standard household circuits. The rugged four-post construction ensures stable head movement, while folding infeed and outfeed tables support longer workpieces. A depth stop preset enables quick, repeatable thickness settings, and the dual-size dust port accepts both 2‑1/2" and 4" hoses for easy dust collection. A cast aluminum base helps reduce snipe, and the portable design with vertical storage capability makes it well-suited for small shops and jobsite storage.
